A Journey from Furniture Design to User Experience Designer

Keyu Zhu (She/her/hers)  is a product designer. Currently, she is a senior at Rhode Island School of Design’s furniture design department and has Concentrations in Nature-Culture-Sustainability Studies, History, and Philosophy. Keyu sees furniture as more than just objects; they are bridges connecting humans with space. With a unique grasp of materials and craftsmanship, she wants to create more tangible moments that blend with new technology through the lens of systematic and human-centered thinking. She aspires to make lives proactive and meaningful, crafting emotionally durable designs for a sustainable future both in the physical and digital realms.
